Find out more on how to get rid of pimple scars.
Acne may not be a life-threatening condition, but if you care about how you look, then fighting it should be your top priority. A face peppered with acne is already unsightly, and it gets even worse when acne is left untreated and turn into scars.
That is why we are here to help you find effective acne solutions. There are literally thousands of acne solutions being sold in the market today, that its almost impossible to make the right choice for you. Do you take common solutions such as washing your face, do you get a prescription from your dermatologist? What do you do? Here are some of your options:
1.Go the Traditional Route. In mild cases of acne, it is often enough that you wash your face with water. Doing so would help get rid of dead skin cells and excess oil in your hair follicles to prevent acne. Just be careful not to scrub your face too much or use strong chemicals as they might irritate your skin further, causing acne to breakout. Now if you have recurring cases of acne breakouts, then youll need a stronger solution than simply washing your face.
2.Non-Prescription Acne Solutions. Still getting acne all over your face? You can also try non-prescription treatment for your acne. Common solutions that fall into this category include antibacterial solutions, benzoyl peroxide, and salicylic acid. Antibacterial solutions are often found in soaps, which supposedly battles bacteria that could cause acne. Benzoyl peroxide works using the same principle. Meanwhile, salicylic acid works by unclogging the pores, thereby preventing any eruption of acne.
3.Prescription Acne Treatment. If the previously-mentioned options dont work for you, then youll need to get help from a dermatologist. Your dermatologist can provide you with prescription acne treatment that will be more effective against your problem. Some prescription acne treatments include retinoids, which unclog your pores, antibiotics that battle acne-causing bacteria, and even oral contraceptives. While they are effective battling severe acne problems, they are obviously more expensive than regular acne treatments. Plus, you wont be able to acquire this kind of treatment without a prescription from a dermatologist.
4.Holistic Approach. Sometimes, there isnt a single effective solution to battling your acne problems. While washing your face regularly removes excess oils, it doesnt stop the overproduction of oils that cause pimples. So the cycle of acne breakouts continues. What you need then is an overall approach towards battling your acne. This involves digging into the deeper causes of your acne problem and battling it at that level. So if your acne is caused by hormonal imbalances, then you need to balance that out. That would then solve your problem without worrying if your acne will reappear eventually.
All in all, effective acne solutions ultimately depend on the type of acne breakout you are having. However, if you wish to forgo constantly battling acne, it is highly recommended that you take a holistic approach towards your problem. That involves getting into the root of your acne problem so you can forget about having acne completely.
Pimple scars are marks left on the skin after a blemish has cleared. A scar can be the result of permanent skin damage, caused when zits are squeezed, picked, or alternatively irritated. When this happens, the wound in the underlying area deepens, and the infection spreads.
It is therefore a brilliant idea, to keep the hands away from the face, when you have an outbreak of pimples. Left alone ; blemishes will actually go away after a couple weeks. Nevertheless many people become impatient, and they either pick their pimples, or use varied treatments in an effort to get them to disappear swiftly.
